Time reports on puritanical Muslims threatening the Libyan revolution. The sect known as Salafis is going in to local communities and implementing very radical Islamic laws and rules.
Al Maghrib Institute Teaches Islam To Muslims In the West
Western Muslims are concerned because they don’t receive an immersion in to Islam like they do in the east. Al Maghrib is an institute in the U.S. that immerses Muslims in to Islam, so they can live it out in our culture.
Their goal is to teach Muslims how to live out their faith in our culture and also to help teach them how to ‘educate’ people about Islam.
