What is the motivation behind the censorship? I may have an answer. The answer involves a little horn tooting on my part.

Back on December 19th, I reported on a Saudi prince buying $300 million in Twitter. Link I questioned the consequences of a prince of an oppressive regime owning actual power and influence on a platform used for the Arab Spring.

Could we now be seeing the consequences of that? I’ll leave that decision up to you.

Republicans love them some Obama. Yes I’m not buying their guise that they despise Obamacare. Bottom line, Republicans want them some Obamacare and the ranting the last three years has just been a hollow temper tantrum about losing in 2008.

Why do I say this?

Because the two leading Republicans are Romney and Gingrich. Romney gave the blue print for Obamacare and Gingrich supported a health mandate.

If Republicans stood 100% opposed to Obamacare, they wouldn’t swarm toward two guys like Gingrich and Romney.

I’m guessing Republicans like other aspects of Obama policy too. So they need to just quit the ranting against him and re-elect him in 2012. I’m sick of all the dramatics and theatre from the GOP.

It’s time the GOP either live up to all the ranting they’re doing, or quit ranting against Obama and just re-elect him.

Western Muslims are concerned because they don’t receive an immersion in to Islam like they do in the east. Al Maghrib is an institute in the U.S. that immerses Muslims in to Islam, so they can live it out in our culture.

Their goal is to teach Muslims how to live out their faith in our culture and also to help teach them how to ‘educate’ people about Islam.

South Sudan finally became independent of the north. The two countries are now fighting over oil. North Sudan is seeking compensation for debts and also for use of a pipeline that allows South Sudan to transport oil to the Red Sea.

Regional disputes like these are a reminder that our nation must become energy independent. Our economy and overall security is still dependent on far away regional fights over oil.

Pakistan Snubs U.S. Envoy

The U.S. wanted to send Marc Grossman to Islamabad to discuss talks with the Taliban. Officials in Pakistan denied the visit. Indicating very chilled relations between Pakistan and the U.S.

Pakistan remains vital regardless of any cold shoulder they are giving our nation. Pakistan has nuclear weapons and a significant population of radical Islamists. This is a dangerous mix and must be avoided.

You can demean polls all you want, but so far this year, they have been pretty accurate.

Polls in South Carolina have Romney and Gingrich in the lead.

So after three years of the Tea Party, protests and other expressions of disgust towards Obama and Obamacare, South Carolina is heavily leaning toward two people that supported a health mandate in their past.

You can conjecture your way around it all you want, bottom line is that these two supported a healthcare mandate just like Obama.

South Carolina must support Obamacare. Unless the election results differ from the poll results, that’s the conclusion we are forced to believe about Republicans in South Carolina.

I’m starting to think that’s the perspective of the entire Republican party, because Romney continues to lead with Gingrich nipping at his heels.

If that’s how Republicans feel, then so be it. This is a democratic republic. But please, stop all the railing against Obamacare as you go on to vote for someone who supported the same thing.

WASHINGTON—Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, 21, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was indicted by a federal grand jury today for attempting to assassinate the president of the United States. The indictment stems from the November 11, 2011 shooting near the White House.

The indictment was announced by U.S. Attorney Ronald C. Machen Jr.; James W. McJunkin, Assistant Director of the FBI’s Washington Field Office; and David Beach, Special Agent in Charge of the Washington Field Office of the U.S. Secret Service.

Saudi Arabia has promised to increase oil production if Iran decreases their output of oil. This could lead to a region wide conflict if Iran decides to block shipments of oil or if they react in other ways to sanctions or airstrikes.

Hizbullah holds influence in Lebanon’s government and culture. The president of Lebanon is seeking to do away with their arsenal of weapons. This has national security implications in regard to Israel and our own nation. With a non-existant arsenal Hizbulluh would be unable to terrorize Israel or distribute weapons to those seeking to harm our nation and our friends.

I’m starting to think the GOP is full of it when they say they want an anti-Obama.

Bachmann, Pawlenty and Huntsman are now out of the race. The top four are Romney, Gingrich, Paul and Santorum.

Two of them have endorsed a health mandate in the past. Paul wants to legalize pot. These three sound more like Obama than the anti-Obama, yet they remain in the race and near the top of the race.

Say what you want, but Pawlenty and Huntsman never endorsed a health mandate. Yet they’re out of the race?

If Santorum doesn’t end up with the nomination, I’m going to conclude the GOP likes Obama policy more than it lets on.

Ron Paul’s weak stance on life has been strongly rejected by a pro-life group. Conservatives Network applauds their stand.

American Right To Life rejected Ron Paul when he tried signing a pledge stating he’s pro-life. Link ARTL sees the truth of Ron Paul’s stand. He claims to be pro-life, but he actually puts the rights of states above the rights of an innocent baby in the womb.

Some excerpts.

“Shockingly, Ron Paul agrees with the central finding of Roe v. Wade itself,” says Darrell Birkey, director of research for American Right To Life, “that the constitutional protection of human rights does not apply to unborn children.” And Birkey adds, “Ron Paul as president would defend a fictitious right of states to legalize the murder of children, but any country that permits kids to be intentionally killed is not even civilized.”

“Ron Paul is not who he claims to be,” says Lolita Hanks, president of American RTL. “Paul is pro-choice, state-by-state. He believes states should be allowed to keep abortion, which is like allowing states to keep slavery.” Thus as president, Paul would refuse to enforce the 14th amendment, which declares, “No State shall… deprive any person of life… without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

Here is some coverage I have done on Ron Paul’s fake stance for life. Link Link

Rick Santorum is a pro-life, pro-one man one woman marriage, Christian conservative. His views are held with contempt and disdain by those on the left.

Rick Santorum could remedy this contempt and disdain from the left, if he would convert to Islam.

If Santorum converted to Islam, his views on marriage and abortion, would be treated as quaint beliefs of a devout religion that must be respected.

We see this from the left in regards to Muslim congressman Keith Ellison.

In the video below, Ellison says Muslims are favored by Allah and they must share that message.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At0v6ChHL0M

Imagine how the left would react if a Christian elected official said they are favored by God and must spread that message.

In the video below, Ellison gives details of his Muslim beliefs during a session in the House. He explains the details of Ramadan.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVutDHPlSxU

We know how crazy the left goes when Christians use government functions and offices for Christian purposes. Yet here we have Keith Ellison giving a lecture on Ramadan right during a session in the House.

Santorum is being treated unfairly by the left. If they’re going to be against him, then they had better apply the same treatment to Keith Ellison too.

The liberals and liberal media are making fun of Rick Santorum. Santorum’s wife had a stillborn baby. They brought the baby home for various personal reasons.

Liberals and the media are now mocking Santorum’s decision. Why are they mocking the decision?

Liberals mock this, because to them, babies are a disposable good. Babies are not people to a liberal. They’re just a growth that occurs as an unintended consequence after a night of drunken, non-committal lustful sex.

Liberals find it odd that a dead baby would be treated as a person lost, because liberals don’t grant babies personhood.

Liberals will weep and do benefit concerts for a beached whale, but God forbid the parents of a stillborn treats their dead baby like a person.

President Fox’s vision for an open border is a vision I embrace, as long as we demonstrate the will to address the obstacles to it. An open border means poverty has given way to opportunity, and Mexico’s citizens do not feel compelled to cross the border to find that opportunity. It means we have addressed pollution concerns, made substantial progress in stopping the spread of disease, and rid our crossings of illicit drug smuggling activity. Clearly we have a long way to go in addressing those issues. At the same time we must continue to deepen our economic ties, expanding opportunities for Mexican and U.S. companies to do business on both sides of the border. The outlook is promising, even if the road to prosperity is a long one. We share a bond as neighbors, and we find our culture north of the Rio Grande to be increasingly defined by the strong traits of people of Hispanic descent. Texas has long enjoyed a unique identity, an identity forged by an independent spirit, and the convergence of many different peoples. We must welcome change in the 21st Century as we have in every century before it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zt6XCZz2X1Y

After viewing that ad, you may think Rick Perry has moral high ground on this issue.

Rick Perry does not have moral high ground on this issue. As governor of Texas, he wanted an increase in Congressional funding for Texas infrastructure and he appealed to the Bush Texas connection in his ploy to get increased funding. Here, right in his own writing.

With Texas serving as the Gateway to Mexico, it is time that we receive congressional funding that reflects the instrumental role our state plays as a port of entry. With a Texan in the White House, I believe there is no greater opportunity to end the funding discrimination that crippled Texas infrastructure under the previous administration. Good infrastructure is essential to the free flow of commerce

Link

Looks like Rick Perry isn’t above asking Congress for more money for his state too. He’s even worse. Perry wanted to take advantage of having a fellow Texan in the White House.

We hear a lot about Rick Perry and his conservative credentials. Did you know that in 2002, he supported taking private land to build a massive high speed rail system in Texas? Did you know he was going to use some federal funds to build it? Did you know he appealed to ‘environmental’ concerns as a justification for building it?

Rick Perry proposed ”The Trans Texas Corridor Plan”. Part of the plan included high speed rail, that would receive some federal funding. It also involved a huge land grab of private property. Perry even appealed to “environmental” concerns as justification for the massive project. Here is part of his sales pitch. (These are excerpts from here.)

The Trans Texas Corridor incorporates toll and non-toll roads, high-speed freight and commuter rail, water lines, oil and gas pipelines, electric transmission lines, broadband and other telecommunications infrastructure in the same corridors.

Toll Equity, Regional Mobility Authorities and the Texas Mobility Fund, Texas can use increasingly tight state and federal funds to partner with public and private entities to design, build, operate and manage the innovative system – without new taxes.

“The Trans Texas Corridor plan also will help Texas reduce air pollution and lead to better stewardship of our natural resources,”

The corridors will consist of six highway vehicle lanes – three in each direction - and six rail lines – three in each direction. One rail line will be dedicated to high speed commuter rail, one to high speed freight rail and one dedicated to short haul regional rail, which could serve as the backbone of a local commuter rail system serving all Texans. The governor emphasized that his Trans Texas Corridor plan will involve the construction of rail lines at the same time roads are built.

Perry said he recognizes the concerns of rural property owners whenever road construction is mentioned and emphasized that the Trans Texas Corridor “will serve as a new lifeline to our more rural communities, providing economic opportunity through a fast, safe and reliable transportation system and providing access to public resources necessary to prosper.”

This looks like the infrastructure equivalent of RomneyCare. Think about it.

He’s suggesting taking tons of private property to build high speed rail, while appealing to ‘the environment’ as a justification for the massive project.

I really don’t need to offer further commentary. I think the evidence speaks for itself.

The Serial hypocrite Ron Paul is at it again. Now he’s slinging his mud at Rick Santorum. He’s going after Santorum on abortion and spending. Ironic seeing Ron Paul has very muddy waters on abortion and spending too.

In an entry on Paul’s campaign website he’s quoted as saying…

He spends too much money.

Link

He went on to mention some big govenment things Santorum is supposedly for. Unfortunately for Ron Paul the serial hypocrite, Ron Paul has no moral high ground to stand on when it comes to big spending.

Ron Paul has earmarked $8million for the marketing of American shrimp. Where is that in the constitution? Does the government have the power to market shrimp? He’s put in $2.3 million for shrimp research. Again where is that in the constitution? Link

Ron Paul also goes after Santorum on his support of Arlen Specter. He ties support of Specter to the advance of abortion, Obamacare and gun control. Link Link Link

Again, the serial hypocrite Ron Paul has NO moral high ground to stand on here. Ron Paul gave some support to Cynthia McKinney for president. He did this even though there was a pro-life, pro-2nd amendment, pro-smaller government candidate named John Mccain running for president. Ron Paul said he couldn’t show any support for Mccain because there was nothing they agreed on. Link Link LinkLink Link Link Link Link

Cynthia McKinney is pro-choice, with a 100% rating from NARAL. She’s in to bigger government than John Mccain. She was even for partial birth abortion. Link Link Link Link

Ron Paul’s conscience is seared as with a hot iron, if he can go after Santorum, yet not blink at his own record!

Yes maybe Santorum did give some support to Specter, but Santorum says he did it out of pragmatism, so other conservative principles could go further. Santorum believes Specter helped get the conservative justices on the Supreme Court. He believes backing Pat Toomey, would have yielded a weaker candidate for the general election. In Santorum’s mind, it’s better to have maybe a more liberal guy in power, who can get conservative justices, instead of a weak candidate who couldn’t get elected at the time.

Santorum also did something that Ron Paul is incapable of doing. Santorum made a tough decision, that had direct consequences on him. Ron Paul NEVER makes tough decisions that can result in any sting or pain for him. His followers may point to all his ‘no votes’ and his ‘perfect record’. Listen, Ron Paul was able to vote no, because his vote was 1 of 400+. His constituents NEVER felt the sting of all of Paul’s no votes, because the Congress always made up for it. (Read more on that here.)

In one area where Paul could have put some skin in the game and put himself at risk, he played a game of double talk. He put pork in bills, then voted against it! This allowed him to pacify his constituents with pork, while maintaining the ‘perfect voting record’.

So yes, maybe Santorum has some problems with the Specter issue, but Ron Paul has no moral high ground to stand on. Further Ron Paul is on lower ground, because at least Santorum was willing to put some skin in the game and put himself at risk. Ron Paul is much different. Ron Paul the serial hypocrite sends the pork home, while hiding behind the majority in Congress. Ron Paul is weak, hypocritical and as Santorum puts it, simply disgusting. Click here to read about the 12 inconsistencies of Ron Paul.

H.R. 822 would make all states honor conceal carry permits from other states, if a state also has a conceal carry law. One letter to an editor writer says this would be a step in the right direction for the protection of women.

Our hopes of a peaceful transition, and non-radicalized Libya may be dashed. Libyan leaders are warning of a possible civil war if Libya militias don’t get under control. The national security consequences are obvious. If radical Islamists get in control, that’s another safe haven for terrorists.

Spain Seeking Possible Bailout Euro Becoming Unstable

Europe is becoming more unstable economically. Spain, the 4th largest economy in Europe may be seeking a bailout. There isn’t enough money in Europe to bail them out. Continued instability of the Euro, could mean an unstable Europe. An unstable Europe can give rise to any number or monsters and wars.

Italy On Board For Oil Embargo Of Iran

Italy seems on board with a gradual oil embargo of Iran. Italian concerns with oil supply are understood. They will have to find a new source for energy. Italy also holds some debt from Iran. A stipulation of the agreement is that Italy can continue collecting payments from Tehran, so their debt remains financed.

Special Operations troops are being trained in the arts of being a detective. They practice in real life terrorism scenes. One example is investigating a hypothetical suicide bomber crime scene.

Ron Paul and his millions, ended up finishing behind Santorum and his tiny amount of money spent in the Iowa Caucus.

Ron Paul spent $344,000 in Iowa, between December 19th and Dec 25th. Link

A PAC for Santorum spent $150,000 in Iowa. Link

In July through September of 2011 Santorum raised $700,000. Link

In December Ron Paul raised $4 million in a Tea Party money bomb. Link

Oh yeah and he has the most donations from military members. Link

I think you get the contrast in money on hand. Ron Paul had millions and he had the entire military behind him. Yet Ron Paul couldn’t finish ahead of Rick Santorum who had maybe a million total, and who didn’t have any military support at all.

Oh yeah, and remember all those straw polls he won and all those online polls he won. Remember the entire military worships him! Yet he couldn’t finish ahead of Rick Santorum and his small amount of bling.

Sup with that?

Oh and the remark about Santorum having no military support is said tongue in cheek, seeing Paul supports keep saying Paul has so much military support.

Guantanamo Bay Guard Converts To Islam In Front Of Detainees

Terry Collin Holdbrooks served in Guantanamo Bay, guarding detainees for the War on Terror. While interacting with Muslims in detainment he saw their faith, devotion and hope in the midst of being detained. This caused him to investigate Islam more. He eventually converted to Islam in front of the two detainees. Holdbrooks now goes around speaking about Islam. He says it’s not a terrorists religion.

Sheikh Says Islam Has Solution To All Problems

Sheikh Ahmad bin Hamad Al Khalili says…

“Let it be financial crisis or social unrest, Islam and the Holy Book Quran have solutions to resolve the issues. Even the Western thinkers and philosophers have now started to agree on this,” the Grand Mufti told media on the sidelines of the inaugural meeting arranged by Kerala Islamic Association (KIA) to award the Holy Quran quiz winners.

“The world is plagued by all sorts of problems like social unrest, political instability, mass poverty and destitution. Many of today’s problems derive from the fact that the world in which we live is rapidly becoming one world. Mankind must learn to live close together in intimate contact with each other.”

I would strongly disagree. Beheading anyone who doesn’t follow along, may get rid of ‘the problems’, but it’s not the right way to do it.

Good And Bad Of New Georgia Gun Licenses

Georgia has a more professional looking gun license to hand out to concealed carry owners. Thus making it easier to use when they go out of state and want to bring their gun along. The bad aspect is that they cost more, and some county governments are actually losing money processing the new licenses.

New Hampshire has three bills that could potentially ease gun control restrictions. The legislature would have sole authority to regulate guns on public or publicly financed land. Another bill would do away with a gun permitting process. The other bill would stop the ban on loaded guns in vehicles.

The latest sack of…umm..hogwash out of the pro-choice camp leaves my head spinning. They’re now comparing the pro-life view to Sharia law.

In the mind of pro-choicers, the pro-lifers are trying to control a woman’s body. They’re totally ignorant of the fact that there is another life in that womb. By trying to ‘control’ the woman’s body, the pro-lifer becomes as invasive as the Sharia enforcing cleric.

You know what’s even more ironic? These pro-choicers would probably stand up for the rights to enforce Sharia, before they would stand up for the right of an innocent life.

The left continues to be totally pathetic. In the name of choice they condone murder. In the name of tolerance they support Sharia.

Ron Paul Built His “Perfect Record” By Taking No Risks And Risking No Political Capital

Being part of a branch of government with over 400 members, shields Ron Paul’s constituents from suffering the sting of Ron Paul’s voting record. Ron Paul is able to be the good cop and bad cop at the same time.

As bad cop he builds that ‘record’ that allows him to sell newsletters, books and speeches to his small fringe of supporters. As good cop he’s able to bring home the pork and government services to his constituents.

What would happen if Ron Paul didn’t bring home the pork and government services to his constituents? What would happen if his constituents felt the sting of Ron Paul’s ‘record’?

I can tell you, he wouldn’t be elected again and again. I can tell you Ron Paul would feel the sting of voting the way he votes.

That is the crux of the Ron Paul ‘record’. He’s been able to establish it, without having to feel the sting from his constituents. He can vote against their interests, because the rest of Congress will most likely vote for their interests.

As he’s putting in all the pork to help his constituents, he’s voting no. He knows his no vote will not stop his constituents from getting their pork. How would Paul vote if he and his constituents had to feel the sting of his vote?

As always, here’s the evidence to back up my claims.

Paul puts millions in pork in bills, but votes against it. Link Link Link

U.S. Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) was one of only four House Republicans to break rank from the party and request earmarks despite a Republican Conference earmark moratorium. Paul sent 41 earmark requests totaling $157,093,544 for the 2011 Fiscal Year. His largest single request was $19,500,000 for a naval training ship at the Texas Maritime Academy in Galveston, followed by a $18,126,000 to provide maintenance on the Matagorda Ship Channel.

For Fiscal Year 2010, Paul requested 54 total earmarks, adding up to $398,460,640 in pork that the former presidential candidate sought to bring home to his district. These requests were made prior to the House Republican Conference’s voluntary ban on filing earmarks.

Link

He even offers all these ‘big government’ services to people in his congressional newsletters. Link

Ron Paul can clearly be the good cop and bad cop at the same time. As member of a 400+ branch of government, he can vote against his constituents, because in most cases the majority won’t vote against them.

His constituents don’t feel the sting of his voting record. Yet Paul is able to build that ‘record’ and then use that as a springboard to sell speeches, newsletters and books to his fringe support throughout the nation.

Ron Paul feels no sting. His constituents feel no sting. It’s the best of both worlds for Ron Paul. He can have his pig, pork sandwich and eat it too.

Ron Paul can establish a small government record, without his constituents feeling the sting of that record. We’re left wondering if he’d vote the way he does if his constituents felt the real world sting of his record. We’re left wondering if he’d be reelected if his constituents had to feel the sting of his votes.

One thing is assured. Ron Paul is feeling little sting. He can pander to his fringe group of followers naton wide with his perfect ‘voting record’. Ron Paul can remain in office because he brings home the pork and all the big government he votes and speaks against.

But the four-day results don’t reflect just how quickly momentum is shifting in a race that has remained highly fluid for months. If the final two days of polling are considered separately, Santorum rises to second place, with 21 percent, pushing Paul to third, at 18 percent. Romney remains the same, at 24 percent.

We have one day left in the year 2011.

Anyone who watches cable news has probably seen this commercial directing us to go to http://www.newamerica3.com, to watch a video about some major event that was going to happen in 2011.

Well, unless something happens in the next 24 hours, this is another failed conspiracy/end of the world/the sky is falling theory. It clearly says the event would happen in 2011. It clearly won’t/hasn’t.

I find joy in poking failed predictions like this right in the eye.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvLDTwvPR3w

The disturbing part is that people will not hold these the sky is falling turds to account. Yes that is Alex Jones voice in the ad. People get so caught up in the latest ‘theory’ that they forget the 2000+ failed ones from the past. I guess in a way, they get what they deserve. Getting dragged around with a hook in their mouth by these stupid hucksters.

Obama is desperate for his reelection in 2012. He’s losing the chess match. He’s cornered. His king is pinned in the corner, and he’s left with two pawns to hide his king from the looming rooks and queen.

Like any chess player in that situation, Obama needs a desperate gambit move.

His only move is to pit the helpless against the powerful. He’s going to pit billionaires vs. babies.

He’s going to appeal to all the things the future generation will miss out on, because we won’t raise taxes on the billionaires. Expect a long laundry list of government services that will get cut. Yes services that he claims will help the future generation.

Obama will play in to the assumption that the people want that long laundry list of government goods to be given to the kids. His assumption may not work. Indeed his assumption will fail.

People are becoming more and more aware that big government is not the solution. I think the poor and middle class are realizing that they don’t need the money of billionaires in order to make it in life. They may not love the super rich, but they understand they won’t progress in life by getting their money through the government redistributing it.

Conservatives can win this year if we don’t pit one group against another. Our message must be one that says to all people, you can do it. We all have the ability to make it and succeed.

Obama’s strategy creates victim groups and pits them one against another. Conservatives must do the opposite.

We must free people of their victim class shackles. People are not freed by becoming victims. People are freed by removing the shackles of the victim mentality, so they can have a freedom mentality.
